How it works

WhatSync sits between your AI app and Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. It signs you in, checks what you allowed, and runs the tool your AI asks for.

You ask in plain words, like “who is still waiting on a reply?”, and your AI answers from your real customer chats. No exporting chats or copying them across by hand.

What does WhatSync do with the WhatsApp Business API?

It connects your official WhatsApp Business number to AI apps through MCP, the standard way AI apps use other tools. Your AI can read customer chats, check your templates and account health, and send approved messages when you allow it.

Which AI apps does it work with?

Claude, Cursor, Codex and other apps that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. Paste the server URL as a connector and sign in to WhatSync.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business API account first?

You need a business number connected through Meta. When you connect your number, WhatSync takes you through Meta's official sign-up.

Can my AI message any customer?

No. To start a conversation, it has to send a template Meta has approved, to someone who agreed to hear from you. When a customer messages you, it can reply in its own words for the next 24 hours.

Does it work with a personal WhatsApp number?

No. This connector works only with numbers connected through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

What does it cost?

Where are my messages stored?
