WhatSync connects customer conversations to Attio. You choose the WhatsApp number, the connection method, and which chats are included. You can disconnect whenever you want.

Link the WhatsApp you already use

Approve WhatSync from WhatsApp's Linked devices screen. We do not ask for your WhatsApp password or SMS code. Keep using the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app as usual, and unlink WhatSync from WhatsApp at any time.

Connect through Meta

Choose this route when you need Meta-approved templates or automated sending from Attio workflows. It uses a WhatsApp Business Account managed through Meta.

What the connection does

Sync selected context

WhatSync processes the message text, contact identifiers, timestamps, and available attachment metadata needed to match selected conversations with people in Attio.

Keep the controls

Number filters, group selection, team roles, and sharing modes decide what is included and who can use it. The choices remain with the workspace owner.

Protect connection data

WhatSync keeps the connection credentials and session state needed to run the integration. Sensitive connection values are encrypted and are not meant to be shared by email or chat.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell the contents of your WhatsApp messages.
  • We do not use message contents for advertising.
  • We do not use your messages to train a general-purpose AI model.
  • We do not ask for your WhatsApp password or SMS verification code.

AI access is optional

WhatSync itself does not train a general-purpose AI model on your messages. If you enable an external AI integration, it receives only the context allowed by your account and request. The provider's own terms and data settings then apply.

What is WhatSync?

WhatSync is a business tool that connects WhatsApp conversations to Attio CRM. It matches chats to contacts, keeps customer context in Attio, and gives teams controls over which conversations are included.

Does the QR connection ask for my password or SMS code?

No. You approve the connection from WhatsApp's Linked devices screen by scanning a QR code. WhatSync does not ask for your WhatsApp password or SMS verification code.

Can I remove WhatSync from WhatsApp?

Yes. You can disconnect inside WhatSync or remove the linked device from WhatsApp. Removing it ends that connection.

Does WhatSync sell or train AI on my messages?

No. WhatSync does not sell WhatsApp message contents, use them for advertising, or use them to train a general-purpose AI model. If you choose to send permitted message context to an external AI provider, that provider's terms apply.

What is the difference between the two connection options?

The QR option links the WhatsApp account already used on a phone and is intended for conversation sync and person-to-person work. The official WhatsApp Business connection runs through Meta and supports approved templates and automated business messaging.

WhatsApp, Meta, and Attio are separate companies that control their own platforms and policies. Their services may change or require a connection to be approved again. WhatSync is not endorsed by or affiliated with WhatsApp, Meta, or Attio.
