What is a vCard?

A vCard is a small text file, ending in .vcf, that holds contact details in a standard format. iPhone, Android, Outlook and Gmail all open it and offer to save the contact.

This tool writes vCard 3.0, the version phones read most reliably. Your WhatsApp number is saved as a mobile number and as a wa.me link, so one tap opens a chat with you.

How to share your vCard

On WhatsApp. Attach the .vcf file as a document. The person taps it and saves you.
In print. Put the QR code on business cards, flyers, your shop counter or a stand at an event.
In email. Attach the file to your signature or your first email to a new client.

Is this vCard generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. The card is made in your browser, so your details stay on your device.

Will the QR code work without the internet?

Yes. The whole contact is inside the QR code itself, so it saves even with no signal. It never expires.

Why is my QR code so dense?

Every detail you add makes it bigger. Leave out the address and note for a simpler code that scans from further away.

Does the WhatsApp number show up in WhatsApp?

Once the contact is saved on a phone with WhatsApp, WhatsApp finds the number in the person's contacts like any other. The wa.me link opens a chat straight away.
