How the fields work
A field is a column name in double curly brackets. {{name}} is replaced with the value in the name column for each row, so one message becomes as many copies as your list has people.
The name in the brackets must match the column exactly, including capitals. The tool marks any field your list is missing.
Add a column called phone with full international numbers and every copy gets an Open in WhatsApp button that fills in the message for you.
Stay within WhatsApp's rules
WhatsApp sets the rules for its service. Sending the same message to many people from a personal number, especially people who did not ask to hear from you, goes against them and can get the number restricted.
- Message only people who agreed to hear from you, and make it easy to say stop.
- Send one at a time from your own WhatsApp, and keep it personal.
- For campaigns to many customers, use the WhatsApp Business API with approved templates. The template builder helps you write one, and the pricing calculator shows what Meta charges.
